- In order to protect the environment (by using less fossil fuel) as well as by easing traffic problem, parents and employees of Saint Louis College – Cebu are urged to practice carpooling, that is, to give a ride to each other in one’s car to prevent multiplication of cars on the road.
- In the spirit of charity, those who practice carpooling are requested not to collect fees from each other.
- Those who want to collect fees should abide with the LTFRB rules as well as with the SLCC rules. SLCC may request the LTFRB to send officers inside the school compound to apprehend carpoolers without LTFRB permit but still collect fees.
- The practice of carpooling should be inspiring. That means those who carpool should encourage others to join. Thus, those who collect fees should collect attractive fees, not discouraging fees.
- Carpooling is primarily part of the advocacy to protect our environment. Even those who are given permit to collect fees should treat carpooling primarily as an advocacy not as a franchise.
